Urban Real Estate and Development, Minor

This minor, co-sponsored by Real Estate (Wharton) and Urban Studies (Arts and Sciences), is designed to enable students to combine an interest in Urban Studies and Real Estate Development. Students take a total of seven Urban Studies and Real Estate courses, in consultation with the minor advisor.  

Prequisite to taking any Wharton courses: ECON 001 Introduction to Micro Economics and ECON 002 Introductory Economics: Macro. Also, check prerequisites for Wharton courses and fulfill.)

Core Courses
Select two of the following URBS Core courses:2
The Transformation of Urban America
Urban Law 1
The City
Transformation of Urban America: From the Mid-Twentieth Century to the Present
Select two of the following REAL Core courses:2
Real Estate Law 1
Urban Real Estate Economics
Urban Fiscal Policy
Select 3 course units of URBS and REAL Electives 23
Total Course Units7

Take either URBS 204 Urban Law or REAL 204 Real Estate Law, not both.
